1 Rub a rind of lemon over yuor face if you have an oily skin and this will lessen grease and cleanse your complexoin.

2, Tomatoes cut in half and rubbed over the face are useful for toning up and whitening the skin, and refining pores.

3, For cleansing the face, soak a piece of cotton-wool in unboiled milk and rub the face with it gently from the chin upwards to the forehead.

4, For a yoythful complexion, put a spoonful of ground nutmeg in a bowl of water and splash this water over the face, two or three times aweek.

5, Housewives who spend a lot of time in the kitchen should sprinkle water on their face at regular intervals.

6, Combine half a teaspoon lemon-juice and half a teaspoon tulis juice and apply on the face once a day. Allow it to dry and then wash it off.

7, For beautiful skin- Mix a little juice of lemon with barley flour and milk to form a thick paste. Apply this paste daily to the face, neck, hands etc. and wash it off after 15 minutes.
8. If your skin is dryed up split or fissured, apply mustard oil to the affected parts before going to bed every day.

9. A piece of papaya pulp mixed with a dash of cream can be applied daily for wrinkles and for improving the complexion.

10. Pimples are a problem with most growing girls. Put juice of fresh mint leaves on the face daily for an hour before bath.
